I heard that the Head Spa Treatments are at a separate location. What do I need to know?

We really wanted to bring this incredibly relaxing service to our community and needed additional space to make it happen. We were able to acquire an additional 1,000 square feet just a few spaces from our current location. We have named this new area The Hideaway. You will still check in for your service at The Skin & Hair Care Lounge. Your service provider will greet you and walk you over to our new space.

Is this a similar vibe to The Skin & Hair Care Lounge that I already know and love?

Very similar. You will walk in and feel our commitment to a relaxing experience. You will notice that we have turned the tranquility up a notch. There are no phones or computers in this space. Our boutique is staying in its current location, allowing you time to shop for that perfect gift item before and after your service.

Before entering The Hideaway, we will remind you to silence your cell phone and use a quiet voice once inside. The space allows for four treatments at a time with no space for additional guests. Kiddos of all ages will need to have other plans while you are focused on relaxing.

I am still not sure I understand what this new treatment is all about. Simplify it for me!

Elevator Speech: Close your eyes visualize an amazing scalp treatment and massage combined with a customized facial, hand & arm massage as well as a leg & foot massage. It is extremely relaxing.

I have hair extensions. Can I get this done?

Not with your extensions in. We suggest timing it to receive this treatment on move-up day. Have the extensions taken out, receive the Head Spa Treatment, and extensions go back in.

Instagram is showing these treatments in my feed 24/7. It all looks great, BUT are you really going to use the halo to disperse water on my face and neck?

You know how some things look cool on social media but not in real life? This falls into this category. We use the halo for your hair but have found that running it over our face and neck is about as relaxing as water boarding. Don't be nervous or feel the need to bring a snorkel to your appointment, your relaxation is our priority.

Why is the treatment designed for me to leave with wet hair? Can I have my hair blown out?

We have found that most people prefer to leave with wet (towel dried) hair because they want to leave with the luxury of the clean scalp and hair that we just achieved. If you prefer to leave with dry hair, we can book a Head Spa Blowout in the salon for an additional $25 when available.

I think I want my husband to do this with me. Can men receive this treatment?

Absolutely. We love introducing men to the world of self-care. No worries if they have a beard! If your guy shaves on the daily, we do ask that they skip shaving on the day of the service.
